We invite you to a life-changing journey at Pachamama Sanctuary’s Sacred Ayahuasca Retreat, a 3-day, 2-night experience—or an extended 4-day, 3-night journey for those called to deepen their work. Nestled in the peaceful woods just outside Portland, Maine, this retreat offers a safe and sacred space for deep inner healing, spiritual insight, and transformation through the powerful plant medicine of ayahuasca.

Join us for our core experience: two powerful Yage ceremonies, healing daytime activities, nourishing meals, and deep integration support.
Extended Retreat: +$500 (Thursday–Sunday, August 7–10)
Arrive a day early for a deeper, more immersive experience. Begin your journey with sacred plant allies—mushrooms and cacao—on Friday morning. This special add-on includes an early ceremony, additional teachings, and an intimate introduction to the medicine path with Mambe and Ambil.
Retreat Schedule Overview
Thursday, August 7 – Optional Add-On Day
Teaching Circle: In the evening on Friday, participate in a sacred medicine teaching circle with Mambe and Ambil, traditional plant medicines used for grounding, clarity, and communion with spirit.
Community Dinner and rest.
- Friday Morning Ceremony: Begin with a powerful mushroom and cacao ceremony.
Friday, August 8 – Official Retreat Begins
Check-In: 4 PM–7 PM.
Opening Circle: Meet the full group, share intentions, and begin grounding into the space.
Overnight Ceremony: Yage ceremony begins at 11 PM and continues until daybreak
Saturday, August 9th
Integration Circle: Morning sharing, rest, and nourishment.
Light daytime activities: Meditation, breathwork, and community connection.
Second Yage Ceremony: Begins at 4 PM
Sunday, August 10th
Final Integration: Closing circle and support.
Check-out: Midday departure, feeling renewed, realigned, and transformed.

The $500 extended-day add-on covers Friday’s mushroom & cacao ceremony, teaching circle, additional meals, and an extra night’s stay and ceremony
Check-in time for the weekend retreat is 4 PM–7 PM on Friday. Please arrive on time and allow yourself to settle in.
Additional sleeping options may appear booked online, but ample general accommodations are available—please reach out with any concerns.
For those called to go deeper, the extended experience beginning on Friday offers a rare opportunity to connect with multiple medicines in a traditional context, laying the foundation for the weekend’s transformational ayahuasca ceremonies.

About Taita John Muchavisoy, At a very young age, he began the journey of learning to become a traditional indigenous doctor certified by the Columbian Government. He immersed himself in the jungle for more than 15 years where he went through preparation processes and was able to work hand and hand with the various medicines of the earth, in different patients with physical, emotional and spiritual conditions. His experience and journey now totals 25 years during which time he learned from great grandparents and teachers. The main one, the renowned Major Taita Hipotito Muchuviddy, his father who brought him the knowledge of medicine since he was a child. Ayahuasca medicine is more than a plant, it is a spirit, which manifests itself thought its consumption and helps us to observe our journey through life.
