Pachamama Sanctuary Code of Ethics

Guiding Principles for Sacred Plant Medicine Facilitation & Spiritual Practice

1. Commitment to Sacred Service

We recognize our role as guardians of sacred plant medicine and facilitators of spiritual healing. We dedicate ourselves to serving our community with honor, humility, and respect for ancient traditions while maintaining a safe and ethical environment for all participants.

2. Respect for Each Individual’s Spiritual Path

We honor each individual’s personal journey of healing, transformation, and self-discovery. We support their process without imposing our own beliefs or expectations and uphold the autonomy, dignity, and confidentiality of every participant.

3. Ensuring Informed Consent & Transparency

Prior to participating in sacred ceremonies, all individuals must receive clear, honest, and thorough information about the nature of the experience, including potential challenges, physical and emotional effects, and safety guidelines.

We never coerce, pressure, or mislead anyone into participating.
We ensure participants freely choose to engage in ceremonies with full awareness and consent.

4. Maintaining Professional Boundaries & Safety

We do not engage in any sexual, romantic, or exploitative relationships with participants before, during, or after ceremonies.
We respect personal boundaries and obtain clear consent before any form of touch or assistance.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

We protect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants.
We do not share personal experiences, identities, or any private details without explicit consent.
We create a safe space where individuals feel free to express themselves without fear of judgment.

6. Responsibility for Harm Reduction & Safety Protocols

We screen all participants for potential contraindications (e.g., medications, medical conditions, psychological health). We provide a safe physical environment with adequate support for emergencies. We prohibit the use of alcohol, recreational drugs, or other substances that could interfere with the medicine. We remain committed to harm reduction practices and ongoing education on safety and best practices.

7. Cultural Respect & Integrity

We honor and respect indigenous wisdom, traditions, and teachings from which these sacred medicines originate.
We do not appropriate, commercialize, or exploit these traditions for personal gain.
We acknowledge and support indigenous communities and their rights to protect their sacred knowledge.

8. Commitment to Personal Growth & Ethical Leadership

We continuously engage in self-reflection, personal development, and ethical training to serve our community with the highest integrity.
We remain humble in our role as facilitators and acknowledge when we need guidance, mentorship, or additional support.
We hold ourselves accountable and welcome feedback to maintain ethical excellence.

9. Non-Discrimination & Inclusivity

We welcome all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or background.
We uphold a community of acceptance, love, and mutual respect.
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior in any form.

10. Ethical Use of Contributions & Energy Exchange

We operate with transparency and integrity in all financial and energetic exchanges.
We never exploit or overcharge participants for ceremonies, ensuring affordability and accessibility.
We acknowledge that sacred medicine is not a commodity but a sacred gift that should be treated with reverence and responsibility.
