Begin the New Year with Intention: An Intimate Winter Ayahuasca Retreat with Leandro

January 15–17, 2027 | $1,097 | 3 Days, 2 Nights | Casco, Maine

An Intimate Gathering Limited to Just 16 Guests

There is a special kind of stillness that winter brings to Maine.

The forests rest beneath the quiet of the season. The air is crisp, the days are shorter, and the world seems to invite us to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with what matters most.

As a new year begins, we’re creating something especially intimate at Pachamama Sanctuary.

From January 15–17, we’ll welcome a maximum of just 16 guests for a three-day retreat designed around personal connection, sacred ceremony, and meaningful reflection.

Nestled in the peaceful woodlands just outside Portland, Maine, our Sanctuary offers a warm refuge from the demands of everyday life. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to step away from the noise, reflect on the year behind you, and make space for the intentions you wish to carry into 2027.

Unlike our larger gatherings, this retreat is intentionally limited to 16 participants. With fewer people sharing the experience, there’s more room for individual attention, deeper conversations, and the comfort of becoming familiar with everyone gathered around you.

Guided by our experienced Medicine Carrier, Leandro, this retreat is held with warmth, compassion, and genuine care.

Leandro is known for his welcoming presence and his ability to help guests feel comfortable and supported. The smaller group creates an opportunity for more personal connection with him and our support team, allowing each participant to move through the weekend at their own pace.

As evening falls, our ceremonies are held indoors beside the warmth of the fireplace.

Outside, the winter forest grows still. Inside, a small circle gathers around the fire, creating an atmosphere of closeness, comfort, and quiet reflection.

There is something deeply meaningful about sharing sacred space with a handful of people, each arriving with their own story, intentions, and reasons for being there.

Just 16 guests. Two sacred ceremonies. Three days to begin the year with presence, intention, and connection.

Your Retreat Includes

Two Sacred Ceremonies

At the heart of the weekend are two evening ayahuasca ceremonies guided by Leandro.

With a maximum of 16 participants, the ceremonial space feels especially intimate. The smaller gathering allows for more individualized attention, a quieter atmosphere, and opportunities for personal connection throughout the experience.

Each ceremony is approached with patience, reverence, and thoughtful care, creating space to explore your inner world, reflect on your spiritual path, and reconnect with yourself in your own time.

As you begin a new year, these moments of reflection may offer an opportunity to consider what you’ve learned, what matters most to you, and how you wish to move forward.

There is no expectation to have a particular experience or reach a specific outcome. You’re simply invited to arrive with openness, curiosity, and respect for your own process.

Comfortable Accommodations

Life becomes beautifully simple during retreat.

Each guest is provided with a comfortable memory foam mattress, pillow, and blanket for ceremony and overnight rest.

Guests seeking additional privacy may choose one of our semi-private shared rooms with bunk-style beds.

With fewer guests sharing the Sanctuary, the overall atmosphere feels quieter and more relaxed, allowing everyone room to settle in, rest, and feel at home.

Nourishing Meals

Throughout the weekend, you’ll enjoy thoughtfully prepared meals that follow traditional dieta practices, providing simple nourishment throughout your retreat experience.

Shared meals also offer an opportunity to connect with fellow guests.

In a gathering of just 16 people, conversations can unfold naturally, stories can be shared, and unfamiliar faces may begin to feel familiar as the weekend progresses.

Practices for Reflection & Integration

Ceremony is only one part of the experience.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll participate in practices that encourage presence, personal reflection, and thoughtful integration, including:

  • Breathwork
  • Meditation
  • Group sharing circles
  • Quiet time for journaling, rest, or simply enjoying the peaceful winter surroundings

One of the most meaningful aspects of a smaller retreat is the space it creates for genuine connection.

Sharing circles feel more personal. Conversations have room to deepen. There’s time to listen, reflect, and connect without the energy of a larger group.

And when you need solitude, the peaceful surroundings offer opportunities to simply be with yourself.

Continued Community Support

Although the weekend comes to a close, your connection with Pachamama Sanctuary continues.

As part of our community, you’ll have unlimited access to our online Integration Circles, where guests gather to reflect, ask questions, and support one another as they bring insights from their experiences into everyday life.

We believe that meaningful personal growth extends beyond ceremony, and continued reflection and community support are important parts of that journey.

A Smaller Circle, A More Personal Experience

There is something special about beginning the year surrounded by a small group of people who have each made the intentional choice to pause, look inward, and explore their spiritual path.

With only 16 guests, this retreat is designed to feel personal from beginning to end.

Rather than navigating a large gathering, you’ll share the weekend with a close-knit circle, creating more opportunities for meaningful conversations, connection with Leandro and our support team, and a sense of familiarity within the ceremonial space.

You’ll recognize the faces around you, share meals and reflections together, and have the opportunity to build connections that may continue long after the retreat ends.

Every participant completes a confidential health screening before attending, and our team is committed to providing a respectful, compassionate, and thoughtfully held environment.

Our intention is simple: to create a space where you can arrive as you are, feel welcomed, and move through your experience without pressure or expectations.

Less noise. Fewer people. More room for meaningful connection.

Is This Retreat Right for You?

This intimate winter gathering may be especially meaningful if you’re looking to:

  • Experience sacred ceremony in a smaller, more personal setting
  • Begin 2027 with greater intention and self-awareness
  • Feel more connected to your facilitator and fellow participants
  • Step away from the demands and distractions of everyday life
  • Reflect on the past year and consider what you want to carry forward
  • Explore your spiritual path with openness and curiosity
  • Experience the quiet beauty of winter in Maine
  • Share meaningful moments with a close-knit, heart-centered community

Whether this is your first retreat or one of many, you’ll be welcomed with kindness, patience, and genuine care.

Reserve Your Place in the Circle

The beginning of a new year often comes with expectations.

New goals. New resolutions. New versions of ourselves we’re supposed to become.

But perhaps this year can begin differently.

Not with pressure to change everything, but with permission to slow down.

To listen.

To reflect.

To reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked in the busyness of everyday life.

Our January 15–17 retreat with Leandro is limited to just 16 guests, offering a more intimate Pachamama experience than our larger gatherings.

Fewer people. A quieter atmosphere. More opportunities for personal connection, thoughtful reflection, and individual attention.

If you’ve been longing for a chance to begin the year with intention, surrounded by the peaceful winter woods and a small circle of like-minded people, we’d be honored to welcome you.

Come gather around the fire, embrace the stillness of winter, and give yourself permission to begin the year without needing to have everything figured out.

Only 16 guests will share this experience. We invite you to be one of them.
