Lush experience!

I did not know what to expect prior to coming to Pachamama. I had felt called for some time to sit with Ayahuasca and learn. I am so full of gratitude for the safe environment, honor and love that Pachamama welcomes you with, held me in and and my group in ceremony with. I could not have imagined the lessons I have received. It changed my life and relationships immediately for the better, I can’t say in all the ways yet, except that I think that from my view, everything is changed.

Most important, I just wanted to say that I felt safe and that the experience felt deeply sacred. If you have felt called, I would recommend Pachamama with absolute enthusiasm to you and those that you love!

I came to this sanctuary with a lot of fear and judgement for these types of retreats.

Derek and all the volunteers made it very comfortable for each one of us go through the process of healing.

Haley and Rodneys music is completely transformational.

I am still processing everything that came to me during the ceremony but Mama Aya ( ahuasca medicine) really helped me figure out my life’s purpose. I have never felt loved in my life. I do not feel alone anymore. My spirituality is very full and I am glad I listened to this “curiosity” or universe calling if you want to call it that way because now It is clear that i have work to do to make this world a better place. My ego is now dead and my consciousness is alive and very happy. NAMASTE my beautiful souls

Clarifying

It is always profound to know you’re supposed to be

I was ready, very nervous and vulnerable coming to Pachamama. I was greeted with love and smiles on my arrival. I had a tour right away to soak in the atmosphere and could feel right away that this was exactly where I supposed to be. I felt grounded. For my first time sitting with ayahuasca, this was the place. I knew I had the right people by side and the right guides for my immersion. I knew I was absolutely safe and I could just let go and allow what needed to happen, be done. I learned more about myself and life in two and a half days than I have since childhood. Wisdom that matters to me.

I would recommend Pachamama Sancuary 100% for anyone called for the first time and those who know it’s time to sit with Aya again!

Beautiful weekend

The most amazing weekend of my life.

Enjoy the Whole Journey

My friend and I recently attended a retreat at Pachamama Sanctuary not really knowing what to expect. We both left with our expectations exceeded and feeling like lighter and happier people with better insight into ourselves and our lives. Derek and the staff do an excellent job making sure everyone is comfortable, educated, and safe throughout the process. Our retreat was overseen by shaman JC Arkawa and participants were treated to beautiful live musical performed by him during ceremonies, which added a whole other element to this incredibly humbling, life-changing experience. Pachamama Sanctuary, Arkawa

The experience was better than I expected. Derek does not gratuitously adorn his guidance over integration, breath work, dieta, etc. with esoteric mysticism; he bases his advice on direct empirical experience. As a result, his guidance through integration is as gentle and direct as a formally trained psychotherapist or counselor.

MC Arkawa is a brilliant musician and Aya guide. His recorded works don’t do justice to his solo instrumental and singing abilities, and to understanding the ‘arc’ of the Aya experience– of when to summon, when to go deep, and when to resurface. The music was absolutely grounding, evocative, and uplifting. I witnessed an intervention with someone struggling in her headspace, and he and Pachamama assistant Sativa masterfully brought her out of her loop and into calm self-control.

The setting and approach is one of sober reverence that reveals a deep firsthand understanding of the Aya experience and tradition, and its relationship to individuals of varying needs and dispositions.

Pachamama saved my life

I have attended two retreats at Pachamama and my life has transformed in major ways as a result. Both times I was shown a level of acceptance and respect that was lacking at all the spiritual and medical establishments I had previously sought help from.
